When should you use it?
Use it when the argument is about delay. A flowchart of decisions will not show that the day sits in shipping.
What does each step mean?
- Take the order is 2 minutes of touch time in the sample.
- Pick is 8 minutes and Pack is 4. They are separate so a slow pick is not hidden inside packing.
- Ship is 1 day. That is the wait. Do not add it to the minutes and call the whole thing touch time.
- Invoice is 3 minutes at the end. Move it earlier if you invoice before the truck leaves.
