What does mermaid to flowchart support?

flowchart and graph headers, directions TD, TB, LR, and RL, rectangles [text], rounded nodes (text) and ([text]), diamonds {text}, circles ((text)), arrows -->, ---, -.->, and ==>, plus edge labels written as -->|Yes| or -- Yes -->. RL is laid out left to right. BT is laid out top to bottom.

Which Mermaid diagram types are not imported?

Sequence, class, state, ER, journey, Gantt, pie, git, mindmap, and other non-flowchart types are refused. This page does not convert them.

Is this a mermaid flowchart editor?

The paste box builds a FlowSimp board from flowchart syntax. You then edit shapes on the canvas. It is not the Mermaid live editor, and it does not render every Mermaid feature.

Do edge labels survive the conversion?

Yes. Labels are stored on the arrows. They do not change how far apart the shapes are placed.
